Job summary

Rolls-Royce is seeking a Process Improvement Manufacturing Engineer for Indianapolis operations. This full-time onsite role focuses on QCD improvements across multiple facilities, employing DMAIC methods, lean principles, and data-driven problem solving to drive enterprise-level improvements.

You will partner with operations, quality, design engineering, logistics, and leadership to implement standardized best practices and measurable gains in quality, cost, and delivery.

Qualifications

• Requires AS or BS in Engineering/Engineering Technology with 4+ years in manufacturing, or BS with 2+ years, or MS/PhD; U.S. citizen.
• Relocation available where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Lead data-driven improvement initiatives using DMAIC, lean, and structured problem solving.
• Evaluate performance trends across Indianapolis facilities to identify systemic issues.
• Facilitate cross-functional root-cause analyses and kaizen events.
• Conduct time studies, workflow assessments, and labor efficiency analyses.
• Develop and deploy standard work, process controls, and waste reduction strategies.
• Partner with ME teams and plant leadership to align priorities and replicate best practices.
• Ensure alignment of manufacturing methods with design intent through collaboration with design engineering.
