Job summary

Innovative Labs in Utah is seeking a Process Improvement Engineer to drive manufacturing excellence. You will identify opportunities, lead cross-functional Kaizen events, and implement lean solutions to boost productivity and quality.

Reporting to the Director of Engineering, you will develop OEE improvement plans, analyze processes, and support new product launches from Design through scale-up with Operations, Sales, and R&D teams.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies with hands-on Kaizen event leadership.
• Experience with value stream mapping, waste analysis, root cause analysis (5 Whys, Ishikawa), and corrective actions.
• Understanding of cGMP, SOPs, and quality systems; ability to interpret batch records and regulatory docs.

Responsibilities

• Support daily manufacturing operations, including production line performance and cross-functional collaboration.
• Manage the RedZone system and coordinate with Maintenance to ensure sensors and data collection work properly.
• Identify opportunities and implement solutions to improve productivity, efficiency and overall manufacturing performance.
• Develop and support Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) improvement plans.
• Partner with leadership to develop capacity growth plans and enhance manufacturing capabilities.
• Analyze processes to identify waste and improvement opportunities, then create action plans to drive results.
• Support launch, scale-up, and improvement of new products with Operations, Sales, and R&D teams.
