Kanto Corporation in Portland, OR is seeking a Process Engineer to own the technical performance, reliability, and evolution of manufacturing systems.

This role collaborates across Operations, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and Engineering to identify risks, troubleshoot challenges, and implement improvements on the floor.

The position requires a hands-on engineer with Lean/Six Sigma experience and a bachelor’s in an engineering field.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Experience supporting complex manufacturing processes, equipment, or production systems.
• Strong technical problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
• Experience with process control, technical risk management, change control, and continuous improvement.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, SPC, and operational excellence principles.

• Own Process Performance & System Health: serve as the technical lead for assigned processes and systems.
• Lead Technical Change: manage change control, evaluate feasibility and risk, coordinate reviews.
• Manage Technical Risk: identify and assess risks affecting performance, reliability, safety and quality.
• Solve Difficult Manufacturing Problems: lead investigations, root cause analysis, and preventive actions.
• Lead Across Functions: coordinate activities across Operations, Maintenance, Quality, Supply Chain, and Engineering.
