Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer to assist in developing and implementing manufacturing processes that optimize labor, materials, and production time. You will create work instructions, train staff, and collaborate with engineering to meet production specs and tooling needs.

The role requires at least 2–4 years in manufacturing process development with hands-on implementation and the ability to document complex technical procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, or related drafting/AutoCAD training.
• 2-4 years manufacturing process development background with hands-on implementation and training.
• Must be capable of documenting complex technical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Develop work instructions for production and provide training towards implementation.
• Create solutions to process problems and implement cost saving techniques.
• Interface with production employees, supervisors, engineering personnel, etc. to determine process requirements.
• Determine needed tooling for manufacturing operations.
• Provide input to materials utilization and ensure materials meet production specs.
• Inspect fixtures and assist in maintaining customer tooling records.
• Maintain communications with customers on resolution of process problems, tooling and applications.
• Evaluate and, if necessary, perform shop-floor duties to maximize position effectiveness; provide input on budget related items.
