Epihermetics in Randolph, NJ is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer to own and optimize manufacturing processes, ensuring stability and capability to meet quality, cost, and delivery goals. You will collaborate across Quality, Production, Applications Engineering, and Supply Chain to drive improvements in a high-mix, low-volume environment.

The role emphasizes process validation, NPI, and adherence to QMS requirements, with opportunities to impact throughput, yield, and cost reductions

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• 5-7 years of experience in manufacturing, process engineering, or a related technical environment.
• Experience supporting NPI, process validation, and transition from prototype to production.
• Working knowledge of AS9100 and ISO 9001 requirements and their integration into manufacturing processes.
• Demonstrated experience with process capability analysis, SPC, and statistical tools.
• Proven cross-functional collaboration across Quality, Production, Applications Engineering, and Supply Chain.

Responsibilities

• Own and support assigned manufacturing processes, ensuring stability, repeatability, and capability to meet requirements.
• Lead process development and industrialization from prototype to full-rate production under supervision.
• Create and maintain process documentation (WIs, flows, PFMEAs, control plans) aligned with QMS.
• Validate process capability using Cp/Cpk, DOE, SPC.
• Support NPI deliverables (DFM/DFA, FAI, PPAP) and process validation.
• Drive data-driven decisions to improve yield, reduce variation, and cost of poor quality.
• Lead structured problem-solving (8D, RCA) for process issues and nonconformances.
