Job summary

Alcon is seeking an Associate I, Manufacturing Production Process Engineering to design, develop and implement efficient mass production processes. You will optimize equipment layouts, troubleshoot production issues, and guide technical specifications to ensure quality and compliance.

In this role, you will apply technical knowledge, collaborate with design engineering, and ensure procedures meet GxP standards and SOPs with accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of directly related experience.
• Strong English reading/comprehension and communication.

Responsibilities

• Apply technical knowledge to support project goals.
• Design, develop, and implement mass production processes and optimize equipment layouts.
• Specify procedures for tool and equipment fabrication and adapt machinery to factory conditions.
• Conduct tests to control variables and troubleshoot production problems.
• Provide guidance to product design engineering on technical specifications.
• Ensure processes comply with GxP regulations and SOPs with proper documentation and quality control.
• Follow procedures with some decision-making authority.
