Qualifications

• Current enrollment in chemical, mechanical or industrial engineering.
• Prior internship experience is helpful.
• Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma knowledge desirable.
• Proficiency with data analysis tools (Excel, Minitab, MATLAB).
• Familiarity with process simulation software (Aspen HYSYS, COMSOL) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze current manufacturing processes to identify efficiency, quality and cost improvements.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to develop optimization strategies.
• Conduct data analysis and statistics to evaluate process performance.
• Assist in process troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
• Support SOPs and work instructions for manufacturing processes.
• Assist in evaluating new equipment and technologies to boost productivity.
• Document project activities and findings clearly.
