Job summary

Electrofilm Manufacturing Company LLC in Valencia, CA seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to develop detailed manufacturing instructions and data to meet drawings and specs. Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Industrial or Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering.
• 3–5 years’ experience in standard machining operations or manufacturing engineering.
• CAD design/drawing experience with CATIA V5, Solidworks, and/or Creo.
• Lean Manufacturing, LEAN tools, and Six Sigma knowledge is desirable.
• Proficient in blueprint reading, GD&T, and interpreting 2D & 3D engineering models.
• Strong problem-solving and ability to manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities.

Responsibilities

• Manufacturing engineering capable to recommend, implement, and improve machining process flows and tools.
• Assisting machinists with program proof out.
• Establishing standard times for setup and run of each operation on assigned parts.
• Originate studies for more efficient manufacturing of parts and changes in equipment, methods, materials, and designs.
• Participates in Engineering design reviews on new products and design changes for Design for Manufacture and Design to Cost.
