Job summary

Nordam is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer II for Tulsa, OK. You will apply advanced engineering principles to plan, coordinate, and improve production processes in the Repair division.

You will lead process improvements, work with tooling and fixtures, and act as a project manager for assigned areas. The role emphasizes lean methods, cost control, and collaboration with suppliers and internal teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline; substitution by experience may apply.
  • 3–6 years related experience and/or training as per job requirements.
  • Ability to read and write English and interpret company policies.

Responsibilities

  • Develops solutions to moderate complexity planning, scheduling and manufacturing issues.
  • Supports production with process improvements and tooling; acts as project manager.
  • Participates in lean events to reduce time and material waste.
  • Coordinates design to meet customer requirements and discusses proposals.
  • Collaborates with management on tooling for efficient production methods.
  • Coordinates with vendors to determine specifications and procure equipment.
  • Estimates production time, staffing and costs for management decisions.
  • Recommends methods to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Discusses manufacturing capabilities and schedules to facilitate production.
