Qualifications

• Interpret prints, sketches, verbal instructions and data to identify tooling and fixturing.
• Excellent mechanical aptitude; formal training in robotics, CNC controls, machining, and SPC.
• AutoCAD experience is a plus; evaluate tooling/fixturing for repairs or improvements.
• PLC programming knowledge; Shift: 2nd shift is required; FANUC robotics background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Apply gauging, fixtures and tooling concepts to solve problems.
• Identify areas to improve tooling, cleanliness, sequences, or forming for throughput/quality gains.
• Help maintain and control part programs for machining areas.
• Evaluate tooling/fixturing to determine optimal repair or improvement.
• Provide back-up support to production as employees assume greater manufacturing responsibilities.
