Tosoh Quartz Inc. in the Pacific Northwest seeks a Process Engineer to optimize manufacturing processes, drive efficiency, and implement new techniques from design to production.

You will lead process improvement projects, collaborate with equipment designers, integrate new technology, and mentor colleagues while maintaining safety, quality, and data-driven reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or manufacturing engineering required.
• 4+ years of experience as a Process Engineer in manufacturing.
• Experience with Lean and continuous improvement projects.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and implement systems that increase efficiency and optimize all phases of service or production processes.
• Oversee process design projects and ensure safe, efficient operation of production processes.
• Collaborate with equipment designers to create cost-effective production processes.
• Integrate new technology and NPI into existing processes.
• Conduct tests on systems for efficiency and accuracy.
• Assess safety requirements and integrate them into processes.
• Improve process capability and production volume while maintaining quality.
• Collect, record, and transcribe data and present results in reports.
• Develop and maintain product and process documentation.
• Mentor and support other engineers in the department.
