Job summary

Terumo Aortic is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support the manufacturing engineering team, updating and implementing SAP/HANA. You will develop processes, layouts, tooling, and device history records, while applying Lean principles to increase productivity and reduce costs.

Collaborating with engineering management, R&D, and process development, you will transfer new designs to manufacturing, manage change control, and analyze data for NCR and management reviews.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a technical role in the medical device industry.
• Project management experience in the medical device industry.
• Hands-on knowledge of electronics, motion control, plastics, metallurgy, and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with polymers, medical grade metals and medical packaging.

Responsibilities

• Update and implement SAP/HANA processes and systems.
• Develop processes, layouts, tooling, and device history records.
• Utilize Lean Manufacturing principles to increase productivity and reduce costs.
• Lead design transfers and change management within manufacturing.
• Prepare data for NCR and Management Review meetings.
