Job summary

INA Solution in Westborough, MA seeks a Manufacturing Process Engineer to lead process development for ISO-capital equipment. You will study product requirements, design and test methods, and collaborate with vendors and operators to boost efficiency.

You will apply LEAN, 5S and Six Sigma to optimize layouts, staffing, and ensure high-quality production. Strong CAD/ERP experience and NPI involvement are key assets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering Discipline.
• 6+ years in ISO-regulated capital equipment or contract manufacturing.
• Proficient with CAD (SolidWorks preferred), MS Office, MS Project, and MRP/ERP systems.
• Solid technical aptitude and understanding of electro/mechanical assemblies.
• Knowledge of Business Process Software; MRP/PDM; Epicor E9/10 and SW EPDM is a plus.
• Solid knowledge of GT&D, inspection methods and tools.
• Experience with New Product Introduction (NPI).

Responsibilities

• Develops manufacturing processes by studying product requirements; engineering methods.
• Implements LEAN, 5S and Six Sigma to improve efficiency and layout.
• Assures product and process quality by testing methods and establishing standards.
• Provides manufacturing decision-making information by calculating costs and estimating requirements.
• Supports NPI (SPL) for new products.
• Creates and maintains BOMs, assembly and test procedures and records.
• Coordinates maintenance to keep equipment operational.
