Job summary

Nammo Perry in Florida is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer I to drive continuous process improvement in the manufacturing line. You will work with cross-functional teams to improve throughput, reduce downtime, and minimize waste while adhering to quality standards.

The role emphasizes documentation, training, and collaboration with Development, Quality, Manufacturing and Purchasing to deliver operational value. A bachelor’s degree and 1–2 years in manufacturing are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering or similar.
• 1–2 years of manufacturing experience required.
• Advanced knowledge of explosives/pyrotechnics operations or experience with hazardous chemicals/environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop, document, and implement technologies to drive cost and quality improvements while ensuring compliance with quality systems.
• Document and maintain process documentation (BOMs, Process Flows, Work Instructions, FMEAs).
• Attend training for risk mitigation tools (FMEA) and apply them for process reviews and risk mitigation.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing methods, processes, and tooling on components and final products.
• Collaborate with Development, Quality, Manufacturing, Purchasing and suppliers on problem-solving activities.
• Provide training to associates and support Lean Manufacturing and Kaizen events.
