This role is categorized as onsite. The successful candidate is expected to report to the Warren Technical Center on a full-time basis.

This role requires 25%-50% domestic and international travel.

Purpose: To innovate and develop processes to enable Vehicle as a Tester (VaaT) on the new Software Defined Vehicle (SDV) 2.0 architecture.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the creation and adoption of manufacturing requirements to give GM a competitive edge with VaaT.
• Manage projects from development through testing, validation, and into production.
• Develop a comprehensive library of manufacturing requirements to achieve 99.9% E-FTQ for VaaT.
• Serve as the innovation lead for the plant process team, implementing in-house flash programming for Vehicle as a Tester.
• Provide cost-effective solutions aligned with business plans for the Global Manufacturing Electrical & SDV 2.0 organization.
• Embrace a solution-oriented mindset that challenges norms and revolutionizes manufacturing flash processes.
• Build relationships across functions such as software, manufacturing, and program management to foster innovation.
