Job summary

Hyundai MOBIS North America Electrified Powertrain, LLC is seeking a Process Engineer to develop, optimize, and maintain manufacturing processes for safety, quality, productivity, and cost efficiency. You will work with production, maintenance, quality, and engineering teams to drive continuous improvement across the facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of process engineering experience in manufacturing preferred.
• Experience supporting high-volume production operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and improve manufacturing processes to meet production, quality, and cost objectives.
• Analyze data and process performance to identify efficiency gains and waste reduction.
• Lead root cause analyses and corrective actions for process issues and downtime.
• Create and maintain process documentation (SOPs, work instructions, flow charts, control plans).
• Support new equipment installs, process validation, and line launches.
• Collaborate with Quality and Production to ensure process capability and customer requirement compliance.
• Participate in APQP, PFMEA, Control Plans, and other quality systems.
• Conduct time studies and line balancing to optimize labor and equipment use.
• Evaluate processes and identify automation opportunities to boost productivity and reduce costs.
• Monitor KPIs and implement corrective actions when targets are not met.
• Coordinate engineering changes and ensure successful production implementation.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, etc.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and environmental regulations.
• Provide technical training and support to production staff.
