Job summary

Mitsubishi Chemical Advanced Materials is seeking a hands-on Process Engineer to support manufacturing operations and drive improvements in safety, quality, productivity, and cost efficiency. You will lead process improvement initiatives, support capital projects, and collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, Supply Chain, and EHS teams to deliver measurable results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 3–4 years of experience in Operations or Process Engineering.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Experience with statistical tools and data-driven problem solving.
• Excellent troubleshooting and root cause analysis abilities.
• Working knowledge of electrical systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance safety, quality, efficiency and cost performance.
• Conduct process optimization studies and manufacturing trials.
• Develop designs for small to medium improvement initiatives and capital projects.
• Analyze processes, equipment, materials, and methods to identify opportunities.
• Support Lean and 5S initiatives to improve efficiency.
• Troubleshoot production challenges and investigate deviations to determine root causes.
