Leupold & Stevens, Inc. in Beaverton, Oregon is seeking a Manufacturing/Process Engineer to support new product development and process improvements. You will collaborate with teams to enhance manufacturing capabilities and efficiency.
The ideal candidate has a B.S. degree in engineering and 3-5 years of related experience, particularly with CNC machining and project management. Understanding Lean manufacturing and quality control is essential.

Areas of support include new product development, process development and sustaining efforts in manufacturing. This is a hands‑on role where you’ll collaborate cross‑functionally to relentlessly explore improvements, new processes, new materials, and new technologies that make Leupold the world’s choice for sporting optics.
As a member of the Manufacturing Development Engineering (MDE) team, you’ll support initiatives tied to new product development (NPD) and ongoing production. At its core the MDE team is the engine for manufacturing technology and innovation. This includes the constant search for opportunities to provide step changes in manufacturing capability and efficiency. In this role you’ll have an opportunity to drive key projects in the areas of process efficiency, automation, process control, variability reduction, incoming and outgoing material characterisation, and equipment definition by understanding process challenges, opportunities, and limitations.
