Job summary

Stonhard is seeking a Process Engineer to oversee cross-functional projects in our New Jersey Operations. You will analyze production data, implement process improvements, and partner with maintenance and plant engineers to drive safe, efficient manufacturing.

The role requires hands-on problem solving, capital project management, and strong communication for group-wide initiatives. A Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial/Manufacturing/Chemical engineering background is preferred.

Qualifications

• B.S. Engineering in a relevant field; manufacturing experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Continuous Improvement, Six Sigma and Lean methodologies.
• Experience with capital project implementation and management.
• Proficiency in Excel, Windows and Outlook; AutoCAD experience.
• Strong written, communication and presentation skills (group or high-level settings).

Responsibilities

• Oversee projects related to our manufacturing process and facility needs.
• Create or update processes and resolve facility issues with a hands-on approach.
• Work with Maintenance and Plant Engineers to implement solutions safely and efficiently.
• Analyze production data and conduct time/bottleneck/process hazard analyses using Lean tools.
• Prepare capital project documentation and coordinate with purchasing to drive projects to completion.
