Job summary
Anchor Fabrication is seeking an Engineer to support planning, development, and implementation of efficient manufacturing processes from customer requirements through production. The role combines engineering, estimating, CAD design, and project coordination to ensure products are manufactured efficiently, accurately, and cost-effectively.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
- 5 years of SolidWorks or related CAD experience.
- 3 years in manufacturing preferred.
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems.
Responsibilities
- Establish BOMs, manufacturing routings, and work center run times.
- Prepare estimates of production times, labor requirements, equipment, materials and costs.
- Review customer drawings, models, specs to develop manufacturing plans.
- Support manufacturing engineering for new product introductions (NPI).
- Provide technical support to production personnel and troubleshoot issues.
- Create and maintain CAD drawings, specs and documentation.
- Identify and implement design and process improvements to enhance cost-effectiveness.
- Monitor project progress to meet standards, requirements and timelines.
- Develop and continuously improve methods and procedures to increase efficiency.
- Communicate with customers to understand needs and provide technical support.
