Job Description: Manufacturing / Process Engineer - West Bridgewater, MA

MUST HAVE PCB / SMT Experience!

Targeting $100K to $130K, flexible based on experience.

Job Summary:

An individual contributor responsible for designing, developing, organizing, documenting, implementing, and supporting printed circuit board assembly processes, box build processes, equipment, and materials. Support mechanical designs, tooling, and documentation used in the assembly of printed circuit boards, box builds, mechanical assemblies, and other products assembled in the operation.

Responsibilities:

  1. Design, develop, specify, procure, install, organize, document, implement, and sustain equipment and processes for PCB assembly with thru-hole and surface mount technology.
  2. Design, develop, specify, procure, install, organize, document, implement, and sustain equipment and processes for encapsulating PCBs in plastic cases, metal enclosures, conformal coatings, and potting materials.
  3. Engineer changes, process improvements, and modifications to increase efficiency, yields, quality, and reduce costs.
  4. Design, develop, document, perform, and report experiments to resolve manufacturing process problems related to PCB design, assembly, box builds, and mechanical assemblies.
  5. Interface with technical and non-technical support personnel within internal and external groups supporting manufacturing operations.
  6. Generate, document, and implement programs for automated and semi-automated equipment used in PCB assembly.
  7. Provide training to equipment operators on automated and semi-automated PCB assembly equipment.
  8. Develop, document, publish, and implement preventative maintenance programs for equipment used in PCB assembly.
