Job Description

Enjet Aero machines and fabricates complex jet engine parts, components, and assemblies for leading OEMs in the commercial, defense, and general aviation sectors. Position Description: Manufacturing & Process Engineer is responsible for determining methodology and designs behind producing parts, as well as creating blueprints and setup sheets for shop use.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate quality control processes and recommend improvements.
  • Analyze production processes, schedules, and methods; provide management with reports containing data and statistics to understand future manufacturing requirements.
  • Ensure manufacturing processes comply with customer requirements.
  • Review and calculate labor, material, and other production costs; review schedules and future production needs to assist management in decision-making.
  • Analyze and plan workflow, equipment placement, and space requirements to improve efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years’ experience in manufacturing/machining environment:
  1. Knowledge of cutting tools and techniques
  2. Knowledge of different machine types – 3, 4, 5-axis milling, turning, multi-function
  3. Knowledge of various metals – Aluminum, Stainless, Titanium, High Nickel Alloys, etc.
  4. Knowledge of common metal removal processes and techniques
  • Experience with CAD/CAM software such as SolidWorks, NX, & CGTech Vericut
  • Experience with Epicor ERP System is a plus
  • General computer skills:
  1. Proficiency with Microsoft Office products – Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.
  2. Experience with Windows 10
  3. Ability to navigate and understand file structures and naming conventions in Windows Explorer
  • Effective and efficient communication across all organizational levels
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to travel as required for training and multi-site support
