Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Product Engineer to maintain and improve manufacturing equipment and processes, validate and optimize new and existing product processes, and guide technical communication to meet quality, delivery, and cost targets. You will help design and refine manufacturing solutions and support process integration for new products.

The role requires hands-on experience with lab tools, test systems, and measurement equipment and favors those with medical device manufacturing exposure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of related experience preferred or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience with lab tools, test systems, and measurement equipment is preferred.
• Experience with process improvement methodologies and continuous improvement practices is beneficial.
• Strong communication skills to manage technical information and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and oversee manufacturing equipment and processes to meet quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
• Develop and implement high-quality, cost-appropriate manufacturing solutions aligned with customer requirements.
• Mentor team members within the technical specialty.
• Utilize lab tools, test systems, and measurement devices to analyze and verify manufacturing processes and product performance.
• Demonstrate expertise across multiple phases or processes of the full product and process requirements.
• Work independently within at least one phase of the manufacturing process or product lifecycle.
• Design, optimize, and validate new product processes for efficient manufacturing.
• Produce project documentation per quality and change management procedures.
• Drive process improvements to enhance product integration and throughput.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and support optimization.
