Job summary

Actalent in Danbury, CT seeks a Manufacturing Process Engineer to develop and streamline production operations, pull and analyze production data, and optimize floor layouts to meet demand.

You will mentor junior engineers, lead lean events, and partner with engineering to hit design for manufacturing targets in a fully onsite environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in an engineering field with 5+ years of experience.
• Specialties in manufacturing, production, industrial, tooling, testing, processing, software, robotics, and automation.
• Lean implementation experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Green or black belt in Six Sigma preferred.
• US citizenship and ability to meet DoD security standards and obtain security clearance.

Work Environment

The role is based onsite in CT. Week 1 schedule is Monday to Thursday from 7:30am to 5pm and Friday from 7:30am to 4pm, totaling 40 hours. Week 2 schedule is Monday to Thursday from 7:30am to 5pm with Friday off, also totaling 40 hours. The work environment involves working in electronics, aerospace/defense sectors, focusing on process engineering and improvement.

This is a Contract position based out of Danbury, CT.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $43.27 - $48.08/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
