Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Materials Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or related
  • 2+ years of relevant engineering experience
  • Experience with coating technologies
  • Experience in manufacturing or process engineering
  • Familiarity with thermal spray, Air Plasma Spray (APS), HVOF, or similar coating processes
  • Aerospace, aircraft engine, turbine, or industrial gas turbine experience is a strong plus
  • Experience with robotic programming or FANUC systems is preferred
  • Knowledge of CMM, laser scanning, white-light inspection, gages, or similar measurement methods
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
  • Metallurgy, 3D CAD, FEA, and Lean/continuous improvement experience are beneficial

Responsibilities

Job description

We are seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer with experience in coating technologies to support aerospace and gas turbine component manufacturing in Carson City, NV.

This is a hands‑on engineering role focused on developing, improving, and supporting Air Plasma Spray (APS) and thermal spray coating processes. You’ll work directly with manufacturing equipment and production teams to troubleshoot processes, develop new coating programs, improve equipment, and support new product introduction.

What You’ll Do

What We’re Looking For

  • 2+ years of relevant engineering experience
  • Experience with coating technologies
  • Experience in manufacturing or process engineering
  • Familiarity with thermal spray, Air Plasma Spray (APS), HVOF, or similar coating processes is highly preferred
  • Aerospace, aircraft engine, turbine, or industrial gas turbine experience is a strong plus

Compensation: $81,680–$107,205 annually

Location: Carson City, Nevada – Onsite

This is a direct-hire opportunity supporting the manufacture and repair of critical aerospace and gas turbine components.
