Manufacturing Engineer

Exempt - Salary 60k - 65k

SoPark Corporation, a contract electronics service provider supplying OEM's with printed circuit board, and electromechanical assemblies, is looking for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to maintain production and quality by achieving the most efficient, cost-effective, and highest quality product possible.

Position Summary:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for researching and identifying tools, processes, machines, and equipment that are integrated into the manufacturing facility to achieve efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Developing and implementing cost-saving measures and quality control systems.
• Identify opportunities for preventing waste and inefficiency during production.
• Evaluate process materials such as solder paste, bar solder, wire solder, solder, flux, cleaners, etc., for process improvements.
• Developing detailed layouts for equipment, processes, and workflow.
• Ensuring manufacturing processes, equipment, and products comply with safety standards and legal regulations.
• Evaluates capital equipment, process equipment, and small tools. Provide for capital equipment planning.
• Acts as liaison between all areas including, but not limited to engineering, production, materials, suppliers and customers as necessary.
• Review existing procedures, incorporating new methods, and processes for improvements as necessary.
• Identify opportunities for preventing waste and inefficiency during production.
• Works on special projects as assigned.

Education and/or Experience:

Associate's degree in engineering from accredited college or university or related job experience.
