Job summary

Embraer is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering professional to develop and implement technical solutions for manufacturing processes in a way that reduces costs while increasing quality and resource efficiency. The role includes budgeting, planning, and resource control for new projects under supervision.

The incumbent will interface with Logistics, Production, Quality, Engineering, Sites, Clients and Suppliers to deploy solutions, apply engineering methodologies, and support the production line

Qualifications

• Ability to interpret and identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Ability to write procedures and document processes.
• Experience in Manufacturing Engineering environment preferred.
• Strong problem-solving using methodologies and tooling.

Responsibilities

• Generate documents and work orders.
• Analyze processes to map value flow and identify improvement opportunities.
• Structure opportunities for validation.

• Apply engineering methodologies and tooling to solve technical problems.
• Provide technical dispositioning and documentation support.
• Support production and final assembly line; prioritize tasks.

POSITION SUMMARY

Participate in the development and implementation of technical solutions applied to manufacturing processes, seeking the reduction of recurring and non- recurring industrial costs focusing on the improvement of quality and efficiency of resources. Participate in the development of budget, planning and control of resources necessary to the implementation of new projects and programs, under supervision.

JOB RESPONSIBLITIES

• Generate documents and work orders
• Analyze processes, identifying flow of information, mapping value chain and detecting improvement opportunities
• Structuring of opportunities for validation
• Working in Manufacturing Engineering:
• Participate in the development and implementation of technical solutions by interfacing with other areas (Logistics / Production / Quality / Engineering / Sites / Clients / Suppliers);
• Apply engineering methodologies & tooling to solve technical problems
• Technical dispositioning and attending to documentation
• Support production / final assembly line. Prioritization of work applicable to the technician’s responsibility.

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Has the ability to interpret and identifying opportunities for process improvement.
• Has knowledge of process to define and write procedures.
• Prior experience working with Manufacturing Engineering
• Provide input to implement technical solutions according to interfacing with other areas (Logistics / Production / Quality / Engineering / Sites / Clients / Suppliers);
• Has the ability to solve technical problems by applying methodologies & tooling;
• Can execute actions in planning according as required for quality

Education:

• High School Diploma
• Bachelor’s degree in STEM related field preferred
• Experience working in a Manufacturing Engineering environment

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years in a manufacturing position

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Organized and detailed oriented
• Read, write and conversational English required
