Advanced Digital Cable Inc. in Hayesville, NC seeks a Safety Coordinator to serve as the primary on-site safety resource for a manufacturing plant.

The role partners with plant leadership to promote safe practices, conduct inspections, and lead incident investigations while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include delivering safety training, supporting LOTO and machine guarding programs, maintaining meticulous records, and driving continuous safety improvements

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in manufacturing, industrial safety, supervision, maintenance, or operations.
• Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and follow-through skills.
• Ability to work independently and with employees and management.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain an active, approachable safety presence on the manufacturing floor.
• Conduct routine inspections and track corrective actions to completion.
• Investigate injuries, incidents, near misses, and property-damage events; assist root-cause analysis.
• Coordinate new-hire orientation, safety training, toolbox talks, and refresher training.
• Support LOTO, machine guarding, forklift safety, PPE, NFPA 70E and emergency preparedness.
• Maintain training, inspection, investigation, and corrective-action records.
• Participate in internal and customer safety inspections or audits.
• Track safety trends, communicate updates, and assist with major incidents and special projects.
