Leonard Buildings and Truck Accessories in Mount Airy, NC, is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the Leonard Mount Airy Plant. You will oversee fleet maintenance, plan routes, manage budgeting and ensure safe, on-time delivery of shed buildings and truck accessories.

Reporting to the plant manager, you will not have direct reports but will coordinate with cross-functional teams. The role emphasizes preventive maintenance, records accuracy, safety compliance, and collaboration with production

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational maintenance training is a plus.
• Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician in manufacturing/industrial settings.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing systems; problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on machinery, equipment, and facilities.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues.
• Maintain maintenance records and schedules.
• Coordinate with production teams to address urgent needs.
• Ensure safety regulations are followed and hazards addressed.
