Job summary

Five Star Management is seeking a Plant Custodian in Houston to maintain cleanliness and sanitation across a manufacturing facility. Responsibilities include cleaning production floors, restrooms, and offices; operating floor-cleaning equipment; and restocking supplies while adhering to safety and sanitation standards.

The role supports plant safety and operational efficiency, requiring 1–2 years of custodial experience and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years custodial or industrial cleaning experience.
• Experience cleaning restrooms, locker rooms, and production floors.
• Experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial environment preferred.
• Familiarity with basic maintenance of cleaning machines or tools.
• Able to read and write.”

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety, food safety and quality throughout the plant.
• Immediately report to supervisor any incident or unsafe condition.
• Sweep, mop, and clean production floors regularly.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and office areas.
• Empty and replace trash bags and recycling containers across all departments.
• Operate and maintain floor-cleaning equipment.
• Monitor and restock supplies such as towels, soap, and toilet paper.
• Follow all safety protocols around machines and chemicals.
• Perform tasks with urgency and accuracy.
• Conduct other duties as assigned by management.
