Vaco by Highspring in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Manufacturing Accountant to oversee cost, inventory, and manufacturing variances, and to support reporting for the plant.

The role requires hands-on analysis of product costs, COGS, and standard costing, with close collaboration with plant leadership to align production activity with the financials. On-site work preferred.

Formación

• Experience in cost accounting and manufacturing accounting.
• Experience with inventory valuation and COGS analysis.
• Ability to analyze variances and trends.

Responsabilidades

• Manage accounting activities supporting the Fort Worth manufacturing facility.
• Oversee and analyze inventory, COGS, product costs, and manufacturing variances.
• Support the month-end close, account reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting.
• Monitor inventory accuracy and help resolve inventory discrepancies and control issues.
• Partner with plant leadership and operations teams to understand production activity and its financial impact.
• Analyze manufacturing costs and provide explanations for key variances and trends.
• Support and improve operational accounting processes.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen internal controls and accounting procedures.
• Spend time on the production floor to develop a strong understanding of the manufacturing process and how it flows through the financials.
• Provide accounting support and guidance to plant personnel.
