Job summary

Premier Candle Corporation in Hickory, KY seeks a seasoned Planning & Procurement Manager to lead production planning, materials procurement, and related ERP/MRP activities for the facility. This role requires driving production plans that balance customer demand with plant capacity, inventory goals, and cost considerations.

You will oversee MRP for Premier-owned and customer-owned materials, monitor performance, and proactively resolve scheduling constraints.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• 10+ years in a manufacturing environment.
• 5+ years in a Planning/Procurement or senior leadership role.
• Strong experience with production planning, procurement, inventory and MRP.

Responsibilities

• Lead production planning, scheduling, and customer service coordination.
• Manage MRP for Premier-owned and customer-owned materials.
• Oversee procurement and balance inventory, cash, and capacity.
• Collaborate with plant leadership to meet customer expectations.
• Provide leadership and develop the Planning & Procurement team.
