Job summary

Cleveland-Cliffs is offering an internship for a Manufacturing Planning Analyst Intern in Cleveland, OH. You will build production schedules, manage WIP inventories, and collaborate with Sales, Operations, and accounting to plan and expedite orders.

Proficiency in Excel and SQL Server Management Studio is used to retrieve and validate data. The role supports monthly/annual forecasting, reporting, and delivery improvement initiatives while providing learning opportunities in a best-in-class

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a Bachelor of Science program in the field of Supply Chain, Business, or another business-related field.
• Completion of sophomore year of study by the summer of 2027.
• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

• Build production schedules to support customer delivery expectations.
• Manage Work-In-Process inventories.
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and accounting for planning and expediting orders.
• Use Excel and SQL Server Management Studio to retrieve, filter, and validate data.
• Populate and issue standard daily/weekly/monthly reports.
• Provide analyses to identify issues and actionable insights.
• Support monthly and annual production forecast planning.
• Automate recurring Excel tasks and manage automated reports.
• Support delivery improvement initiatives.
• Perform other duties as needed.
