Job summary

PIM Brands, a leading snack producer in New Jersey, is hiring for a Production Planner to manage production schedules, material availability, and inventory control for a 24/7 facility. The role requires SAP experience and strong Excel skills with a focus on efficiency and accuracy.

You will collaborate with Operations to optimize material movements, support KPI attainment, and help ensure timely delivery of products from the Somerset site. This is an onsite role with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, or business administration.
• 2+ years in production planning, inventory control, and materials management.
• Proven ERP/MRP (SAP) experience and strong Excel skills.
• Analytical, mathematical, and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent cross-departmental communication.

Responsibilities

• Analyze production specifications to determine processes, tools, and staffing needs.
• Maintain a 24/7 plant with urgent production scheduling and support.
• Estimate and coordinate raw materials, equipment, and shifts for continuous workflow.
• Recommend schedule changes due to material or labor shortages, design changes, or backlogs.
• Collaborate with Operations to analyze, validate, and audit material movements.
• Monitor all aspects of material movement and consumption in PIM Brands systems.
• Maintain inventory levels to meet daily production demands and prevent shortages.
• Track stock levels, prevent shortages, and manage WIP to avoid overstock.
• Ensure accuracy of material handling and GMP compliance in the plant.
• Support management with KPI targets: OEE, Schedule Adherence, Shift Adherence & Production Attainment.
• Become a SME in the use of SAP tools & Reports.
