Job summary

Weatherford is seeking a detail-oriented Manufacturing Planner to optimize production schedules and coordinate cross-functional operations from order intake to delivery.

The role requires 1-3 years in planning in an MRP-driven environment, a business or technical degree, and strong organizational and communication skills. Proficiency with Word and Excel is preferred, with collaboration across production, purchasing, and vendor teams.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of planning/scheduling experience in an MRP-driven manufacturing environment.
• College degree in business or technical discipline.
• Strong organizational and time-management capabilities.
• Proven ability to collaborate within cross-functional teams.
• Solid understanding of Materials Requirement Planning (MRP) systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage new orders through established protocols and maintain accurate date tracking
• Update pick, production, and ship dates based on production meeting outcomes
• Generate work orders and coordinate with production, workshop, purchasing, and machine shop teams
• Monitor priority orders and provide daily status updates to buyers and planners
• Liaise with vendors on critical purchase order items
• Support planning supervisor/manager and manufacturing manager with additional projects as needed
