Weatherford is seeking a detail-oriented Manufacturing Planner to optimize production schedules and coordinate cross-functional operations in our drilling services division, ensuring seamless workflow from order intake to delivery at our Houston facility.

The role requires 1-3 years of MRP-driven planning experience, a college degree in business or a technical discipline, strong organizational skills, cross-functional collaboration, and proficiency with MS Word and Excel.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of planning/scheduling experience in an MRP-driven manufacturing environment.
• College degree in business or technical discipline.
• Strong organizational and time-management capabilities.
• Proven ability to collaborate within cross-functional teams.
• Solid understanding of Materials Requirement Planning (MRP) systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage new orders through established protocols and maintain accurate date tracking
• Update pick, production, and ship dates based on production meeting outcomes
• Generate work orders and coordinate with production, workshop, purchasing, and machine shop teams
• Monitor priority orders and provide daily status updates to buyers and planners
• Liaise with vendors on critical purchase order items
• Support planning supervisor/manager and manufacturing manager with additional projects as needed
