Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Grand Prairie, TX is seeking a qualified professional to perform MRP/BOM planning and scheduling across manufacturing functions. You will optimize material flow, maintain lead times and lot sizes, and drive shop floor control to meet production requirements.

Collaboration with Procurement, Operations, and Engineering will be essential to keep BOM changes aligned with the plan. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field, scheduling experience, lean manufacturing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain or related field.
• Scheduling experience required.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem solving abilities.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRP planning activities for BOM and related transactions.
• Coordinate shop floor control and schedule capacity across manufacturing.
• Collaborate with Procurement and Ops Management for time phased plans.
• Maintain MRP parameters including lead times and lot sizes.
• Work with Engineering and Change Board to update BOM as needed.

Performs the Make, Buy and / or Bill of Material (BOM) planning activities associated with Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) transactions. Performs one or more multiple manufacturing activities within various manufacturing functions. Maintains production systems integrity to drive inventory optimization to minimize cost. Expedites and optimizes material flow through the supply chain to meet customer requirements. Coordinates with manufacturing and Operations Management to provide shop floor control on make parts, analyzes and controls production schedule and capacity requirements, executes the plan, provides timely status and expedites or works around plans to preserve schedule. Coordinates with Supply Chain Stakeholders including Procurement and Operations Management to determine appropriate time phased plan for procured parts and executes processes to ensure deliverables meet production schedule requirements. Maintains MRP parameters including lead times and lot sizes and coordinates with Engineering and Change Board Rep to make the associated changes to the BOM.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Business Management, Industrial Eng, Supply Chain or in a related degree from an accredited college.

• Demonstrate strong analytical, problem solving, and multitasking skills
• Ability to obtain a security clearance.

Desired Skills

• Inventory Control and material handling knowledge.
• SAP or equivalent system experience.
• Experience with material requirements and Dock/Receiving/Warehouse/Shipping areas.
• Black Belt trained / certified- Ability to understand engineering drawings and parts lists.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $49500.00 - $91900.00

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
