Job summary

The Manufacturing Ops Technician at Beckman Coulter Life Sciences in San Jose, CA, is responsible for producing acoustic liquid‑handler products while upholding strict quality standards and customer‑specific requirements. This on‑site role partners with Manufacturing, Engineering and Quality to ensure on‑time delivery and compliance with GLP, GDP and GMP.

You will document results, maintain equipment, drive lean improvements, and support inventory management in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• High school degree (or equivalent) with 2+ years experience in highly‑regulated manufacturing environments using relevant computer softwares, production tools and devices.
• Experience with following standardized processes and work instructions, as well as creating and maintaining manufacturing documentation with strong attention to detail.
• Strong independent working skills, including customer interaction, cross‑functional collaboration, prioritization of tasks, and the ability to work with minimal supervision while assuring quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with MFG, Engineering and Quality to execute precise procedures, including plate labeling, plate packaging, plate barcoding, plate inspection, and other tasks while ensuring GLP, GDP, GMP compliance.
• Document, analyze, and report experimental results, while managing MFG equipment maintenance, performing troubleshoots, and maintaining inventory.
• Drive continuous process improvement through lean MFG principles and updating work instructions.
