Job summary

WingXpand is seeking a hands-on production and operations leader in Chicago to translate engineering output into repeatable builds. You will manage the production schedule, work orders, and material flow while owning BOM structure, travelers, SOPs, and inspection points.

You will drive quality through NCR/CAPA processes and collaborate closely with engineering on design changes and supplier decisions. You will lead a small team on the floor, ensure on-time delivery against customer commitments,

Qualifications

• Experience running production in a low-volume, high-mix hardware environment.
• Ability to translate engineering output into repeatable builds and travelers.
• Proven track record of managing BOMs, revision control, and supplier coordination.

Responsibilities

• Run daily and weekly production schedules and manage work orders.
• Create travelers, SOPs, and inspection points with engineering for design intent.
• Maintain BOM accuracy and serialized hardware configuration across lifecycle.
• Lead NCR/CAPA processes with engineering involvement and root-cause analysis.
• Partner with engineering on part selection, alternates, and supplier qualification.
