What You Will Do

• This is a Weekend Shift: AWW1 Shift 3x12 (FSS) 6:00am - 6:30pm
• Participate in a 3-week training program and 4-8 weeks of on-the-job training.
• Learn to set up and operate NC milling/grinding machines, vertical turret lathes, or VTCs for routine production.
• Work from operation sheets, part travelers, BOROPS, and oral instructions to set up equipment.
• Verify conformance of finished work using precision measuring instruments.
• Obtain operator certification for accepting/rejecting parts.
• Perform total preventive maintenance (TPM) on machines.
• Collaborate with engineers, quality assurance, and production personnel to resolve machining issues.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• U.S. citizenship required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Over 1 year of manufacturing, automotive, or related trade experience.
• Ability to perform computations involving decimals and fractions.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities.
