Job summary

Dyno Nobel, Inc. in Wolf Lake, IL is seeking a Manufacturing Operator to safely and efficiently produce a quality NONEL product by hand and with automated systems, stock manufacturing areas, and prep products for shipping.

This temporary role through September 30, 2026 offers starting pay of $28.55 per hour with a $1.00 per hour shift differential on 2nd shift and an incentive bonus if you work through the end date.

Qualifications

• Must have strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Must be able to stand, walk, lift up to 38 lbs, and operate manual/automated equipment.
• Must complete ATF background check to handle explosives.

What You'll Do

• Manufacture a quality NONEL product.
• Focus on improving safety and quality and minimize the impact to current production
• Responsible for properly stocking manufacturing areas and preparing products for shipping.
• Must complete proper documentation and balances while maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Attend all Health and Safety training relevant to the job and apply what is learned to the work.
• Promote implementation of industry best practices, pursue the elimination of waste and support initiatives in manufacturing.
• Demonstrate and/or lead the commitment to the pursuit of achieving Zero Harm through behavioral based safety.
• Ensure compliance with applicable HSE performance standards, objectives and regulations.

What We're Looking For:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Manufacturing experience preferred - on the job training is provided
• Must be able to work 1st, or 2nd Shift
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Must be willing to undergo and pass an ATF background check as required to be a possessor of explosives.
• Ability to communicate with others effectively verbally
• Must be able to stand, sit, squat, bend and walk through the entire shift. Must be capable of lifting up to 38 lbs. and push/pull 15 lbs.
• Ability to wear and care for applicable personal protective equipment (such as, safety glasses and shoes, and gloves) as required by site specific requirements
• Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and a team player.
