Job Description

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Identify and notate defects on the wafer
2. Scanning wafers using a scope
3. Measuring wafer on a five-point grid
4. Cleaning the wafer
5. Carries out clean room experiments as part of engineering-directed, contract or internally funded, process development programs
6. Participates in the documentation of new and upgraded clean room procedures and specifications as they are ready for deployment
7. Participates in the implementation and execution of a clean room process development plan
8. Supports the training of new employees assigned to the clean room activity
9. Carries out a satisfactory, documented preventative maintenance program areas assigned to the clean room activity
10. Maintains semiconductor production work areas

Education & Experience

1. High School Diploma
2. Must be able to work weekend hours. Overtime may be required
3. Experience with networked PC based computer system (Excel, Email, and MRP)
4. Must be technically inclined with mechanical skills
5. Experience with problem analysis, resolution, reporting, and documentation skills
6. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
7. Ability to follow instructions and procedures; suggest continuous improvements
8. Experience with 5S is a plus but not required
9. Must be a U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident Alien, or Protected Individual (ITAR compliance)
10. Set high standards of ethics, professionalism, and competence
