Job summary

Sheridan is hiring a Manufacturing Operator - Sheeter for the 1st shift (Mon-Fri, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM). We’ll train you to set up and operate paper sheeting equipment and to keep production running smoothly. No experience?

No problem—we’ll train you. You’ll work in a hands-on factory environment, learning quality checks, safety procedures, and how to contribute to the creation of books, catalogs, and printed materials.

Qualifications

• No experience required; on-the-job training provided.
• Ability to read basic instructions and measurements.
• Physically able to lift and operate machinery.
• Willingness to learn and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate paper sheeting equipment.
• Monitor quality and adjust as needed to keep the line running.
• Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
• Troubleshoot minor issues to keep production moving.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace.

What You’ll Do

• Learn to set up and operate paper sheeting equipment.
• Keep machine running smoothly by making adjustments and monitoring quality.
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Troubleshoot minor issues and keep production moving.
• Follow safety procedures and help maintain a clean, organized workspace.

What We’re Looking For

No experience? No problem—we’ll train you.

• Are at least 18 years of age.
• Have a High School Diploma, or GED.
• Are mechanically inclined and comfortable using basic tools.
• Can read basic job instructions and measurements (decimals, sizes, etc.)
• Take pride in doing quality work
• Show up reliably and work well with a team.

It’s a plus if you have:

• Previous manufacturing experience.
• Experience setting up or adjusting production equipment.

Physical & Work Environment

Work is performed in a factory environment with regular exposure to dust, dirt, noise, and the physical hazards of machinery, plus some exposure to fumes, oils, lubricants, and chemicals.

Safety toe shoes and hearing protection required.

On your feet for most of the shift.

Ability to lift, carry, push and/or pull 50lbs.
