Job summary

Abbott Laboratories in Altavista, VA, is seeking a production associate in the Nutrition division to support the safe manufacturing of our nutrition products at a large, technology-enabled plant.

You will weigh, handle and dispense ingredients, receive bulk materials, operate computer-controlled processing equipment, and complete work orders while performing quality checks and maintaining a clean, compliant production environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly.
• Forklift experience preferred.

What You’ll Work On

• Safe manufacturing of our industry-leading adult, pediatric and medical nutritional products

You’ll be accountable for meeting our compliance standards including FDA, OSHA and Abbott policies and procedures.

The base pay for this position is $19.05 - $38.15/hour. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
