Job summary

Flex-N-Gate is seeking a Manufacturing Operator in Salem, Ohio. The role involves reading work orders, loading/unloading parts, and ensuring parts are correctly prepared for painting. You will monitor schedules, document quality, and pack items for shipping while maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

The position requires the ability to follow detailed instructions, strong multitasking, and reliable teamwork. Overtime may be required in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Read work orders and instructions to determine material requirements and product specifications.
• Load and unload all parts on jigs while the line is running.
• Monitor schedule to ensure correct parts are loaded.
• Wipe down and prepare parts to be painted.
• Check for quality defects, remove all bad parts, and document.
• Ensure parts are set up correctly to be painted.
• Remove painted parts off the line and place in crates.
• Pick parts to be scanned and labeled.
• Scan parts and enter into computer system.
• Accurately pack and label boxes for shipping.
• Record operational or production data.
• Move products, materials, or equipment between work areas.
• Clean production equipment and work areas.
