Job summary

Weyerhaeuser Grayling, MI is seeking full-time entry level Operations Team Members to join a world-class high-performance mill. You will operate equipment, support production, maintain quality, and contribute to continuous improvement in a safe, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to work a rotating schedule and perform basic math; basic computer use.
• Manufacturing or mill experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate manufacturing equipment that produces oriented strand board.
• Perform preventive maintenance and clean-up on equipment.
• Work effectively in a team environment.
• Troubleshoot equipment and issues.
• Participate in process improvement projects.
• Operate forklifts and other mobile equipment for product flow.
• Perform quality checks and recordkeeping.
• Attend team meetings and training sessions.
• Lead safety and training initiatives in collaboration with supervision.
• Make team decisions and contribute to performance management.
