Job summary

Mondelēz International in Chicago, IL seeks a dedicated maintenance operator to independently operate and maintain at least one process, equipment or system following autonomous maintenance standards. You will use technical skills to improve line performance and meet business needs.

You will work with AM and PM standards to ensure safety processes, quality assurance, and reporting of equipment losses. Flexibility for shifts and overtime is required.

Qualifications

• Reading and writing fluency and communicating as appropriate to site
• Manufacturing experience in high-speed industrial environments
• Ability to operate different types of manufacturing equipment (transports, forklifts, etc.)
• Must be able to perform visual inspection and measuring techniques

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain equipment following autonomous maintenance (AM) standards
• Improve line and system performance to meet business needs
• Follow safety processes and perform quality assurance activities
• Report losses in the area and equipment to improve efficiency
