Job summary

MilliporeSigma in Wisconsin seeks a Manufacturing Operator 2 to safely produce and package chemical compounds used for advanced semiconductors and life science products. You will follow existing production procedures and uphold safety and quality in a fast-paced environment.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and 3+ years in manufacturing. Preferred candidates have experience with chemical handling, ISO/quality systems, and strong problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3+ years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
• Experience with chemical handling (preferred).
• ISO and quality systems experience (preferred).
• Strong problem solving and equipment troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Produce, purify and package chemical compounds to meet customer requirements.
• Stage materials using pallet trucks and powered industrial equipment.
• Verify quality and integrity of materials and equipment.
• Perform in-process analytical testing and simple interpretations.
• Update batch records, computer systems and SAP per ISO procedures.
• Follow safety practices per OSHA, EPA, DNR and other guidelines.
