Job summary

MilliporeSigma is seeking an industrial technician for a 12-hour night shift. The role involves weighing and transferring chemicals, validating quantities, and maintaining rigorous documentation per GDP and GDP guidelines.

You will set up and troubleshoot dispensing equipment, verify safety systems, and participate in equipment changes to improve efficiency. A high school diploma and strong math/attention to detail are required, with forklift experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong math skills and attention to detail are essential.
• Excellent written and verbal communication is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Preciously weigh and transfer hazardous and non-hazardous chemicals into containers and verify quantities.
• Complete paperwork and document cleaning procedures following GDP.
• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot automated dispensing equipment per safety protocols.
• Verify ventilation and safety equipment functionality before starting operations.
• Ensure accuracy by checking batch, container, and material numbers against process specs.
• Promote a proactive safety culture and maintain equipment per 6S standards.
• Operate pallet and drum movers and dispose of waste per regulations.
• Participate in testing and implementation of process/equipment changes to improve efficiency.
