Job summary

Vicor Corporation in Andover, MA is hiring Operators for the 1st shift (Mon–Fri, 7:30 AM–3:30 PM). You will perform assembly and test tasks on an automated VI Chip PCB assembly line from written or verbal instructions.

You’ll monitor equipment, report downtime, use microscopes and hand tools, and cross-train in at least four package assembly work centers. A high school diploma and good communication and teamwork skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and test tasks on automated VI Chip PCB Assembly line from instructions.
• Operate work center equipment to meet production rates and report downtime or malfunctions.
• Utilize microscopes, hand tools, measurement and test equipment daily.
• Cross-train and certify in at least four package assembly work centers (e.g., SMD, Underfill, Transformer Assembly, Mold, Laser Mark, Cut, J-Lead or Test).
• Follow quality, safety and cost guidelines.
• Perform with minimal supervision and take on additional tasks as directed.
